Congratulations Raptors! 2010 HIC Tournament Champions. This was a very fun tournament for the girls. We were missing four of our starters (Kayla, Hoku, Kaylee, and Coby). Coby had other family commitments and Kayla, Kaylee, and Hoku are off at ODP in Idaho. We were lucky enough to have help from our new friends from Riggers (Emily, Noelle, and Emma) and one old friend from Leahi (Dana). Thank you for helping us, it was great to have you all. The team scored 18 goals in 4 games with Sha`tres scoring 6 and Mana scoring 6 in two games (2 hat tricks). Our pool play game against Rush Nike 97 was very exciting as we won 5-3. Sha`tres scored the winning goal in the final against Rush Nike 97 to take the championship. Well done girls!

•April 22, 2010 • Leave a CommentCongratulations Raptors on reaching the finals again this year. You played an excellent game and it shows you have progressed exceptionally well this past year. Keep up the good work and we’ll get them next year!! Missing from the picture are Krista because she had a plane to catch and Rachel who was in the ER due to a dirty foul against her during the final.
We would also like to congratulate our older sisters Ka`oi Express (U16 Girls) and Ka`oi Cyclones (U15 Boys) who won their Championship games and will represent Hawaii in the US Youth Soccer Far West Regionals in New Mexico in June. Well done Ka`oi!!
Players Showcase Semi-Finalists
•March 25, 2010 • Leave a CommentCongratulations Raptors on a great tournament. The girls made it to the semi-finals in the Las Vegas Players Showcase. We won 2 games 3-0 each and lost 2 games to the #1 ranked teams in Nevada and Colorado. Both games were very competitive but we lost our semi-final to Colorado Rush Nike. Once again getting knocked out in the semi-finals by Colorado Rush and by the tournament champions. Our girls continue to grow with experience and this tournament gave them an opportunity to compete against really good teams. This was only our second mainland tournament and with this experience they can come back home with renewed confidence for our local competition and for our next mainland trip. Thank you to all of our great families that provided help and support throughout the tournament. Thank you to our guest players that helped us out since 3 of our Raptors couldn’t make the trip.
Raptors beat Leahi 97 Premiere (Cobras)
•March 8, 2010 • Leave a CommentThe girls started off the season today with a great win over the Leahi 97 Premiere (Cobras). It was a very good game and the Raptors really played well. It was scoreless in the first half with the Raptors controlling the majority of the half and the shots on goal. They scored early in the second half and then held off numerous attacks for the remainder of the game as Leahi didn’t let up. The game ended 1-0. The coaches and parents couldn’t be more proud of these awesome girls. They’ll now travel to Vegas with a renewed sense of confidence. Congratulations girls you deserve it!!
Congratulations and Mahalo!!
